Our digestive health center provides specialist consultation services, endoscopic procedures, gastrointestinal surgery and specialized diagnostic testing.

This meeting with your digestive health specialist can be in person or virtually through a video visit, to spare you a trip to the Center.
Endoscopic and Surgical Procedures
Upper endoscopy
This allows for examination of the upper gastrointestinal tract, including the esophagus, stomach and first part of the small intestine.
Colonoscopy
This allows for examination of the large intestine (colon).
ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
This combines endoscopy and X-rays to diagnose and treat diseases affecting the bile and pancreatic ducts.
Endoscopic ultrasound
This combines endoscopy and ultrasound to examine the internal digestive organs.
Abdominal surgeries
(laparoscopic or open)
Various procedures are performed on organs and tissues within the abdominal cavity, including with the use of minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques.
General surgery
Involves surgeries on many different parts of the body, including the abdomen.
Open-Access Endoscopy
What is it?
For patients in general good health who have been referred or seen by a physician recently, general endoscopic procedures like upper endoscopy and colonoscopy can be scheduled without the need for a prior clinic appointment. This decreases patient wait times for endoscopy.

Pre-procedure assessment
The indication for endoscopy and medical information/records are reviewed by a physician and if endoscopy is appropriate, patient education is provided and endoscopy procedure is scheduled promptly.
